Geiger Counter (Particle Decay Remix) is a GM-less no-prep tabletop role playing game created by J. Walton that I’ve sliced and diced.
It’s survival horror inspired by movies like Alien, Predator, and The Thing. Everyone (usually) dies and you end up with a cool map when you’re done.
Walton has multiple versions available, so I’ve taken my favorite bits from each, borrowed a bit of the way we’ve played it at Story Games Seattle, and added some of my own crazy ideas. So instead of just having three versions to choose from you now have four. You’re welcome… :/
Anyways, you never forget your first. Geiger Counter is the game that showed me GM-less roleplaying games can work, and a game I keep coming back to. This is me coming back to it again.
